Mechanic Legends PLAY

Checked 2026-10-30

Privacy policy

This policy matches the scripts this site actually loads on 30 Oct 2026: Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, Adsterra, and a YouTube player when you press play. If that set changes, the policy changes in the same release.

Who we are

The site is mechaniclegends.com. Contact [email protected]. We are not Wrench Work, Mechanic Devs, or Roblox. Pages are static and the fonts are files on this host, not a Google Fonts request.

What loads, and when

These third parties load on the first page view, before you touch the banner. A visit with no stored choice is treated as granted. The banner tells you what runs and lets you withdraw: press Reject and Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra are switched off for 180 days; the page reloads to stop the current recording and advertising code. Press OK, or change your mind later from Cookie settings in the footer, and they load again.

Cookies and localStorage keys

Why we hold this, and for how long

The analytics and advertising described above use a default-on setting until you choose Reject. This describes the technical setting; an initial visit is not presented as an affirmative consent click. The choice record lets the site remember your preference. We have not verified the current project retention setting for Google Analytics 4 or every advertising record, so we do not publish a fixed retention period for them. Microsoft describes different retention periods for ordinary recordings, selected recordings and heatmap data in its linked documentation. We keep correction emails for as long as the correspondence needs them. Email to [email protected] is routed through Cloudflare Email Routing to our mail-hub Worker and mailbox; a copy is mirrored to our Gmail inbox so the editorial desk can read and reply. We do not run a visitor account on this site.

Your choices and rights

You can withdraw or change consent with Reject / OK in the banner, or with Cookie settings in the footer; the choice is remembered for 180 days. You can also clear ml_consent and ml_socialbar_closed in your browser at any time, which returns the site to its default-on state on the next visit. To ask what we hold, or to access, correct or delete the correspondence you sent us, email [email protected].

For personalised advertising, use Google ad settings at https://adssettings.google.com/ , the DAA opt-out at https://optout.aboutads.info/ , the NAI opt-out at https://optout.networkadvertising.org/ , or the EU choices page at https://www.youronlinechoices.com/ . Adsterra's own privacy policy is at https://adsterra.com/privacy-policy/ . Global Privacy Control is honoured as a reject. Do Not Track is not a separate switch beyond that.

We change this policy by editing this page and its date. The previous date stays in the page history of the site release.

Questions

Do you load analytics and ads before I click anything?

Yes. Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra load on the first page view. The banner is there to tell you and to let you withdraw; Reject turns all three off for 180 days.

What happens if I press Reject?

The Google consent signals are set to denied, ml_consent stores the choice for 180 days, and the page reloads to stop the scripts that already ran. On that reload and later pages, analytics, recording and advertising scripts stay off. Cookie settings in the footer lets you change it.

Do you use cookies of your own?

The site itself writes only two localStorage keys, ml_consent and ml_socialbar_closed. The cookies listed above belong to Google, Microsoft and Adsterra.
